A Little About Me


I go by Kassidy or KLo, and my pronouns are they/them; LGBTQIA+ folks and allies are all welcome and respected!


All my life I've been traveling as a military child, I've visited 18 states in the US and moved to Seattle on a leap of faith! I started my photography journey in the darkroom from capturing landscapes to falling in love with studio lighting and portraiture during my studies at The University of Alabama. Photography opened my eyes to the magic of the everyday and special life moments that mean so much to someone. 


As a pibling of three adorable niblings, I am constantly reminded that moments are everything. Photography grounds me and reminds me to be present and remember all these little and big moments we have in life as time continues to move forward.

Meaning behind KLo Reflections


KLo is a combination of my first name and middle name. I was named after my grandmother who inspired me with her life and watches over me as I continue my journey.


Reflections refers to every photograph I've taken, I remember those moments as if they happened yesterday and that's what I want to do for you.

I earned my B.A. in Photography with a minor in Entrepreneurship at The University of Alabama.

As an artist I use portraiture to communicate the stories, experiences, and messages of my subjects relating to societal issues.
