All my life I've been traveling — as a military child, I visited 18 states before moving to Seattle on a leap of faith. I started my photography journey in the darkroom, capturing landscapes, before falling in love with studio lighting and portraiture during my studies at The University of Alabama. Photography opened my eyes to the magic of the everyday — the small, in-between moments that end up meaning everything.

As a pibling to four adorable niblings, I'm constantly reminded that moments are everything. Photography grounds me — it reminds me to be present and hold onto the little and big moments as life keeps moving forward.
You'll probably catch me wearing one of my "they" pronoun beanies (they're from my other project, Galactic Flow, where I make identity-affirming apparel). My hair changes with the seasons — and honestly, so do I; I'm always evolving, and I love that photography lets me capture people exactly where they are in their own story, right now.
Meaning behind KLo Reflections
K-Lo is a combination of my first name and middle name. I was named after my grandmother, who inspired me through her life and still watches over me as I continue my journey.
Reflections refers to every photograph I've taken — I remember those moments as if they happened yesterday, and that's what I want to create for you.
I earned my B.A. in Photography with a minor in Entrepreneurship at The University of Alabama.
As an artist, I use portraiture to communicate the stories, experiences, and messages of my subjects, often relating to societal issues.
As a photographer, I use my artistic style to capture the essence of a person.

I did my first cosplay in 2026 (Lust from FMA) and it reignited something in me. I'd love to work with more cosplayers and capture the characters and creativity you bring to life.
